The parade runs at 9am, followed by a festival at Friendship Park from 4pm to 10pm with vendors, food trucks, activities and games, and the Infinite Roads Car Show running 4pm to 8pm. The parade doesn't just pass through the neighborhood on its way to somewhere else. It ends at the same park where the day's festival and car show are already set up, which means the entire day funnels back to one location by mid-afternoon. South Ogden Days is a free family event, run by the city with its own security team on site to keep things easy for families.

That's a program built for people who already live here and might bring their kids on a Saturday morning, not a tourist draw.
The next performance on the calendar is one South Ogden residents can still catch this month. On August 11 at 7pm, the company performs The Tempest at Nature Park, with a 7pm preshow followed by the performance at 7:30pm, running about an hour. Bring a chair or a blanket. There's no ticket line and no gate to plan around, just a park that's added a second civic function to go with its splash pad and picnic tables.
Between Friendship Park running the town's biggest single day of the year and Nature Park now hosting a full summer of free theater, South Ogden's public calendar is organized around exactly two parks rather than a commercial corridor. The Rest of the Week Belongs to Smaller Parks
